Here at Congregation of Reform Judaism we believe the future of Jewish youth is paramount. The youth programs at Congregation of Reform Judaism are designed to inspire leadership, creativity, and form friendships. We are committed to constructing a foundation for a lifetime of love and passion for Judaism.
As a temple affiliated with the Union of Reform Judaism, GORFTY (Greater Orlando Federation of Temple Youth) is affiliated with NFTY (North American Federation of Temple Youth). GORFTY will meet regularly during the school year with a calendar of events put out in early August. GORFTY’s wide range of programs and events give everyone an opportunity to participate on the days which work for them! GORFTY is run by the elected GORFTY Board of high school age students along with the GORFTY advisor. As members of NFTY, GORFTY participates in three weekend long kallot each year. It is the goal of Congregation of Reform Judaism not just for GORFTY to be a youth group, but a family. We are an ever expanding group of high schoolers whose friendships will last a life time.
