The CRJ Seniors meet at 12:00 noon on the third Thursday of each month, September through May, in the Temple Social Hall. Each meeting features an informative and/or entertaining program.
Bringing active adults, age 60 and older, together as a group to sponsor and promote recreational, cultural, social, religious and fellowship activities, and to be of mutual assistance to one another.
Programs are held at 12pm in the mini sanctuary at CRJ. Annual membership dues are $10. A light luncheon is available at a moderate charge for paid up members and slightly more for non-members.
September 24 - Our first meeting had to be rescheduled because of the High Holy Days. Rabbi Engel and Temple President Lynn Warner will “entertain”. A bagels and the fixings luncheon is free to paid up members.
October 17 - A representative of Canine Companions for Independence, along with dog(s), will talk about their program (the dogs do not talk).
November 21 - Beverly Engel will discuss Alzheimers and dementia, symptoms and 10 warning signs, brain health and how to stay brain healthy.
December 19 - The Lake Brantley High School Choral Group will once again entertain the Seniors with holiday songs including several for Chanukah. This includes our traditional latke party, provided free to paid-up members.
January 16 - This is our BINGO night with no charge for the cards and generous prizes for the winners. A pizza luncheon is available at a moderate cost.
February 20 In Need of Diagnosis, Inc. – their mission is to promote changes in the medical system to improve the timeliness and accuracy of medical diagnosis and to provide help and support to those who are in need of diagnosis.
March 20 - Cantor Jacki will entertain us with a mixture of show tunes and religious songs.
April 17 - Real Estate Agent Terri Misek presents “It's more than a move."
May 15 - This is the installation of officers catered luncheon to be held in the mini sanctuary.
